Dr. Margaret McDougall is a native of Eau Claire and is happy to be in the area practicing veterinary medicine. Following high school, Margaret moved to Madison where she completed a degree in biology and worked in a research laboratory at the School of Veterinary Medicine. After completing veterinary school at University of Wisconsin-Madison, Dr. Margaret and her family moved to Eau Claire to be close to family. She has worked in the area since 2011 both in practices as well as teaching at the veterinary technology program at Globe University. She loves her days at Kindness Animal Hospital as well as her work at Oakwood Hills Animal Hospital.
When she isn’t working, Dr. Margaret is spending time with her husband, two daughters, a son, two dogs, two budgies, fish, and a cat. She loves spending time outdoors and you can find her hiking or paddle boarding.
Dr. Todd Leavitt joined our staff in August 2010. After graduating from University of Wisconsin – Madison College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009, he completed a one-year internship with Michigan Veterinary Specialists in Detroit where he received advanced training in medicine and surgery.
Dr. Leavitt grew up in Eau Claire and has been interested in veterinary medicine since childhood. He graduated from Memorial High School and worked at Oakwood Hills Animal Hospital as a kennel attendant. He returned to our hospital as a senior in veterinary school and completed an externship here. Since joining the staff at OHAH, he has become a partner in the ownership team.
Dr. Leavitt enjoys life in Eau Claire with his wife and their two small children. The family shares their home with two Labradors, Wally and Echo, and one cat, Phoebe.
Dr. Kevin Landorf graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. He practiced in the Chippewa Valley for ten years in two mixed animal veterinary clinics before deciding to specialize in small animal medicine and surgery. When not working at the animal hospital, he enjoys an active life with his wife (Melissa,) daughter (Brittany,) and son (Mike.) Their Goldendoodle, Rizzo, is very much a part of this active family as well.
In his spare time, Dr. Landorf enjoys biking, tennis, household do-it-yourself projects, reading, and boating with family and friends.
Dr. Emily Schneider is a 2022 graduate from Iowa State University College of veterinary medicine. Dr. Emily grew up on a small dairy farm in Stanley, WI and found an early childhood interest in veterinary medicine by watching vets work on cattle at home. Prior to vet school, she attended University of Wisconsin-River Falls and added companion animal care to her interests. She is excited to be back in the area as a small animal practitioner and has a special interest in surgery and animal behavior.
Dr. Emily currently resides in Eau Claire with her 17-year-old calico cat, Rosie. When she is not at work, she enjoys reading, crafting, watching movies, attending live music events, and attending bi-weekly tablet-top gaming nights.
