Leslie joined the staff of Kindness Animal Hospital in November 2017 as a Certified Veterinary Technician. A native of Eau Claire, Leslie moved back to the area after being in Massachusetts for the past 19 years. She has over 20 years of vet tech experience in a variety of fields, including emergency, critical care, and internal medicine. Leslie resides in Altoona with her daughter and her cat Hamilton. Leslie has a wide variety of interests that keep her busy in her free time. She is excited to use her skills to help our clients and their pets, by providing excellent patient care and treating every pet as her own!
Lacey is a certified veterinary technician new to the Chippewa Falls area. Originally from Minnesota, she got her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science at UW-River Falls then went on to tech school. She has worked in mixed practice clinics and loved working with the variety of patients. In her free time, she enjoys weekends up north, hunting, fishing and going to concerts. She resides in Chippewa Falls with her husband and two labs, Mabel and Miller.
Shari began working at Kindness in 1998. She can always be found at the front desk, chatting with clients and meeting all their pets. In her free time Shari enjoys walking her dog (and cats), taking photos and watching Netflix. Shari lives in Eau Claire with a household full of pets including her little dog, cats and several birds.
A dedicated animal care professional with 19 years of experience, Kindness’s newest Customer Service Representative Allie understands the needs of pets and their people from both a personal and professional perspective, as evidenced by her beloved 17-year-old cat, Rocky. When not at the clinic, she enjoys reading, listening to music, tackling DIY projects, and trying to play the acoustic guitar.
Meghan is originally from the Wausau, Wisconsin area where she lived on a hobby farm and her love of working with animals grew. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire with a bachelor of science degree, majoring in biology and a minor in both chemistry and business. You will find Meghan working here as an assistant to our doctors and technicians. She spends a lot of her free time with her own fur-babies. She currently has two bunnies and two kitties.
Tonya does a little bit of everything! She is one of our veterinary assistants helping the doctors and technicians as needed. You can also find her helping out at the front desk, handing out treats to the pets, and she is our number one go-to fix-it person as well. She lives in Eau Claire with her family and a variety of pets.
Amanda has worked with animals for while now! She came to us from Oakwood Hills Animal Hospital where she worked as an animal caregiver. At Kindness she helps out almost everywhere, she is a Veterinary Assistant and works at the front desk. Amanda lives in Chippewa Falls Wi with her husband and assortment of pets!
Emma is a veterinary assistant who is passionate about caring for animals and supporting their health and well being. Emma graduated from Cadott High School and is currently completing her associate degree to become certified and continue advancing her education in the veterinary field. Emma is a proud owner of a leopard gecko named Iggy and 3 dogs reflecting her love for all types of animals. Outside of work, Emma enjoys painting, going on walks, listening to music, and spending quality time with her family. She enjoys sunsets and loves adventures. She is really excited to be a part of the Kindness team!
Jade is a certified veterinary technician with over 15 years of experience in general practice, with additional experience in orthopedics. Originally from Chicago, she earned her Bachelor of Science from Loyola University. She completed her veterinary technician education at Joilet Junior College. She is passionate about providing high quality care to patients and places a strong emphasis on client education. Helping pet owners become informed and feel confident in their pet’s care is a very rewarding part of her career. Outside of work, she’s a busy mom to my two boys and enjoys spending time with her dog, Birdie, and cat, Ru (not pictured). She loves hiking, exploring nature with her family, taking on DIY projects, and trying new restaurants with her husband.
Miss Kitty is our resident ring-necked dove. She lives in our aviary along with her numerous finch friends. Miss Kitty was brought to us over 15 years ago by someone who found her in their yard. Because she is not a native wild species of dove, she had nowhere to go. She moved in with our resident finches at that time and now spends her days contentedly cooing in the aviary or watching all the activity around the clinic.
